Lindsay and Craig's Foster Park Wedding

Lindsay and Craig have a sweet, endearing love for each other that is simply contagious.  Her respect for him and his love for her are beautifully obvious (as you can also witness in their engagement session).

I cannot help but laugh every time I look at this TOO CUTE for words ringbearer as a chipmunk steps in front of his path during his march down the aisle.  Who's ever heard of a delay due to a chipmunk???  Hilarious!  What a moment!

I just love the look on this grandmother's face as she ponders love, marriage and the wonders of modern cameras.  : )

The amorous couple were married at the quaint Bridal Glen inside Foster Park in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  Just look at their AMAZING flowers done by Emily at Lilly's Flowers!

After the wedding (and yes, once again the rain kindly did NOT disturb our outdoor adventures), the party headed over to Salomon Farm Park Barn for the reception where Goeglein's catered and Dr. Feelgood's provided the musical atmosphere.

I honestly can not look at this next photo from this wedding without crying.  I am totally and completely emotionally attached to this moment that I captured.  I lost my own mother to breast cancer in 2006 so when I saw Craig's sister's tatoo and the sacredness of this moment as she watched her mom dance with Craig, I seized the opportunity to create a new memory for the Barcus family in honor of Craig's father.

Thank you for the honor of photographing your wedding Lindsay and Craig!!!  (you too, Mona!)

Jennifer and Garrett Tie The Knot!

Jennifer and Garrett's wedding was SO absolutely energetic, carefree and BEAUTIFUL!

This amazingly loving and adorable couple tied the knot in the gorgeous, open-air courtyard of Ceruti's Summit Park in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  It was HOT but it was a PERFECT setting...complete with blue skies and fluffy white clouds!  Ooo la la!!!

The reception was held in the fantastic Summit Room and was adorned with bright yellow and orange to match their gorgeous flowers done by Rose's Bouquets.

Erik Michaels of Megasound provided GREAT music that kept everyone rockin' on the dance floor until the hall lights came on at the end of the night.

K. Monique's Studio of Dance

Every year I look forward to Picture Day with Kristin Pagan's brainchild K. Monique's Studio of Dance.

Kristin's dad Rich's commitment to health has always been a huge source of inspiration to me and it's obvious he has been to Kristin as well.  K. Monique's provides a strong, accurate, and intense instruction of dance in its true art form.  It is their mission to build character while building a strong dance foundation in a positive, uplifting environment.  And they are truly succeeding!  The dancers (and Zumba lovers galore!!!!) that Kristin works with are no question motivated, creative, ENJOYING investing in their fitness, and have mad dancing skilz! : )

Register for my Fall 2010 "The Tools Behind the Click"™ photography course

Well, it's been a fast and furious return to "the swing of things" again after having our new little baby girl on March 31st.

I had considered doing some teaching this summer but my booking calendar has been so busy with photo shoots, that I decided to take my extra hours to just be with my growing family (Eva is #4).

The next time I teach will be this fall through the Fort Wayne Community School District's Neighborhood Connection.  My first fall class is called "The Tools Behind the Click" and will be offered 9/14-10/19 from 6-7:30pm.  My late fall class is called "Lighting Techniques in the Digital Age" and will be offered 10/26-11/30 from 6-8pm.

To register, you will eventually be able to go to Neighborhood Connection's Web site.  They don't have the class info live on the Web site just yet but you can call 260.467.1075 to register.
