Concordia Lutheran High School Senior: Nathan

"Dream no small dreams for they have no power to move the hearts of men." ~ Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

Nathan is in the Class of 2011 and plays soccer plus is involved with JROTC.  He plans to enter the military after graduating from high school.  So, I thought it'd be appropriate to take him to a kinda rough and tough looking environment for high Senior Portrait Session.

Snider High School Class of 2011 Senior: Stephanie

Stephanie, your natural beauty captivated me during your Senior Pic Session!  Your genuineness will lead you to great things in life.  Remember the words of Robert Cushing:  "The fact is, that to do anything in the world worth doing, we must not stand back shivering and thinking of the cold and danger, but jump in and scramble through as well as we can."  May you go forth to your life ahead with greatness and courage!  Senior year will fly by before you know it and you'll be off into the great unknown...

Concordia Lutheran HS Senior: Katrina

Katrina, you have one of those faces I am just captured by.  There is a depth of character, of self-knowledge and beauty that is flat out undeniable.  A young woman with confidence is a powerful woman, indeed.  And, yet you are humble!  As Fran Lebowitz said, "Humility is no substitute for a good personality" - and you possess BOTH.  May you bring a Glow and be aware of the Glow you bring to every room you enter!

Huntington Wedding: Andrew + Kristen

Andrew and Kristen first met back in high school through mutual friends.  He asked her out on their first date and then 4 1/2 years later, the great surprise proposal happened.  Kristen had no idea it was even coming so when Andrew asked her to marry him, there was a whole lot of excitement surrounding  a banana bread diversion at her sister's house in order to make it all happen.  : )  And...of course...Kristen said yes which led to an enchanted wedding day in Huntington.  And, check out those knockout rings from Jared's!

The beautiful full mass ceremony was held on Saturday, October 16, 2010 at St Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Huntington, Indiana.  Now, I had never been to this church before so I was just amazed by the huge white structure when I pulled up.  It's super-white and roughly textured body instantly made me think of Greece with it up against the amazing blue sky we had that day.

And, what GREAT colors - black, red and white are SO striking together.  Wow.  The gorgeous flowers were done by PJ's Flower and Gift Shop.  The bride was absolutely stunning!  Kristen wore her mother's veil, a Mori Lee wedding gown from Nancy's Bridal Boutique in Indianapolis, and beautiful makeup by Jennifer Miller.

After a grand bubble exit from the church, the party moved on over to the Marquis Ballroom of the Marriott.  Limo transportation for the entire wedding party was provided by AA Elegant Limo.  The couple's yummy cake was made by Andy's aunt, Anne.
Congrats you two...may God bless your lives with the fullness of life and joy that only our great Saviour can give!

Fall Wedding by the Lake: Michael + Rachel

Michael and Rachel were married on Pretty Lake, surrounded by their loving family and closest friends!  Rachel's sister put together the AMAZING floral arrangements.  And, definitely check out their totally cool wedding rings custom designed out of silver dollars!!!

Here are a few sneak peeks from their wedding.  Oh - and I LOVED Rachel's idea at the reception to have all of her guests write a message on a chalkboard instead of doing a guest book.  How FUN!!!!
