It was love at first bat when they met playing softball at Tillman Park, so it was only fitting that Mike proposed to Amy on 2nd base of Diamond #2 at the park. She describes him as strong, generous, loving and confident -- and he's head over heels because she is loving, caring, giving, indecisive and competitive. : )
On a warm December day, Mike and Amy promised to be one another's constant friend and faithful partner. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, they vowed to walk through life together.
Mike and Amy: you are adorable together. Thank you for allowing me to be your wedding photographer, but - also - thank you for bringing Life into every room you enter--you are true representatives of the great joy that Life brings. You two are perfect for each other! Isn't it beautiful to watch Life unfold?! : )
The day began when I met Amy to get her great updo at the Classic Crimper Salon in Decatur. Then, we headed to Immanuel Lutheran Church. Amy's favorite dessert is DeBrand's so it was only fitting that Mike surprised her with some yummy chocolate as she was getting ready for the day. Kudos to Deb at Scotts on Clinton for the pretty blue, silver and white florals for the wedding day. At the reception at The Orchid in New Haven, a glorious Cupcake Cake was perfected by Mini Delights Bake Shoppe in Elkhart and dancin' tunes were provided by DJ Brian from Dance N' Sound.
By the way, I also had the pleasure of photographing Mike and Amy for their engagement pictures as well.
