Last Days of Summer: The Perfect Time for Family Pictures!

Adorable Toddler: Nora

I have to say I am really proud of the growing community of artists and photographers in Fort Wayne.  My sweet friend Olivia Fey is one of those wonderful photographers (Fey Photography).  Olivia took my MOST favorite maternity photos (what can I say...I've had 5 babies so I've had quite a few opportunities to capture my pregnant belly).  Anyway...I had the pleasure of spending the afternoon with Olivia, her mom and Olivia's totally adorable daughter Nora.  And, while Nora was a typical busy-bodied toddler, we managed to wrangle her for some sweet, unforgettable moments with mommy and grandma.

Heather's Family

It's not very often that this family has the opportunity to all be together from various parts of the country, so I was honored to spend two hours with them as they reunited.  The historic setting was just the perfect fit for the memorable gathering.  I had great fun capturing the ageless joy of this adorable family. Abby and Sammy

Sweet little Abby (2 1/2 years old) and Sammy (6 months old) had me smiling during our entire session.  They have SO much energy and loved exploring their environment while I had the adventure of capturing their excitement for life. Fort Wayne Family Photos: Becca

For Croninger Elementary School's Carnival last spring, we donated a portrait session door prize.  Becca was the lucky winner!  Enjoy these sneak peeks from her family portrait session just a bit ago.  : )  What a beautiful family you have Becca!

Field of Black-Eyed Susans: Family Portrait

Shadowlands Photography is proud to be a supporter of a variety of social justice and community organizations in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  Whether it's through donating our time to groups directly such as Healthier Moms & Babies or NILMDTS or through donating items for silent auctions to groups such as The Salvation Army...or in the case of this particular session winner...the 1st Annual Batters & Bidders Picnic Auction in 2010, which benefitted the Boys and Girls Club of Fort Wayne.

Monica and her sweet family have a wonderful farm property which had a fully-bloomed black-eyed susan field of flowers in which for us to do their outdoor family portrait session.  And, even though it was one of those miserable one hundred and seven degree days, we had lots of fun creating these shots.

What a beautiful family!
